Current Opportunities

What do volunteers do?

As well as working directly with our families, volunteers can be involved in a variety of activities such as:

  • Policy formation and management - for example, offering skills to our committees;
  • Practical tasks—building maintenance, gardening, decorating, helping at events, cooking, driving;
  • Administration—filing, recording, book keeping as members of support committees;
  • Publicity—promoting FSW in the community;
  • Fundraising—special events where you can raise the profile and finances for FSW.

We have detailed some of the current opportunities available with us.  You can see the descriptions of the roles by downloading the information from this page

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer then please telephone David Dickson, Volunteer Co-ordinator on (01273) 832 533 or email david@familysupportwork.org.uk and ask for more information.

Alternatively you can download a Volunteer Application Form from this page and return it to us via post to our Volunteer Co-ordinator:
