Supporting Us
If you would like to support us financially please download the gift aid/standing order form print it out and send it back to us.
Events
If you have enthusiasm then we can help you plan or host an event that would help us raise vital funds. We have had coffee mornings, book sales, craft events, walks, chocolate events, dinner events, harvest food collections, toy collections and numerous other activities where the local community has been invited to attend. We can often provide speakers for these events that will provide up to date information and resources to help you help us. Even if you are not in a position to organise an event we may be able to put you in touch with other events taking place in your area.
Corporate Partnerships: Working Together with FSW
Corporate sponsorship with FSW enables your company to promote a positive image to people and may even be an opportunity for corporate hospitality at our Knowles Tooth Centre, Hurstpierpoint which is set in 5 acres of Sussex Countryside. In our experience, it is a way to attract very positive media attention.
FSW offers many different opportunities for sponsorship. You can choose to sponsor any aspects of the work: from family support workers in your local area, to building projects, volunteer training or sponsoring equipment for our children’s centre. You could even sponsor an individual event such as Open Day at Knowles Tooth, or the book sale held annually in November.
By sponsoring FSW events or initiatives, you could promote a positive image, entertain clients and reinforce your company's position as one taking social responsibility seriously. There is also the opportunity for payroll giving and we would be happy to talk to you about this option. Contact: admin@familysupportwork.org.uk
Donate
In the last few years approximately 20% of our income came though gifts and donations so it means so much to the families we serve enabling us to continue to help them. There are various ways individuals or companies can give. It can start from one off donations, direct debits or even remembering FSW through a legacy. Gift Aid is always a useful way for us be tax efficient so please consider your donation.
Volunteering
There are lots of opportunities to be part of the work. Whether it is jobs around the Knowles Tooth garden, driving the minibus, DIY, cooking or helping directly alongside our professional staff, we can use and develop your skills. There is no requirement to make a regular commitment, your involvement can be on an ad hoc basis. Click here to visit the volunteering section where you can download information and forms. You can also contact our Volunteer Co-ordinator David Dickson: david@familysupportwork.org.uk Tel. (01273) 832 533
Give a Child a Holiday Scheme
This is our version of a 'virtual gift' scheme, where you buy a gift to the value of your choice, and send the card to your friends and relatives to mark a special occasion (e.g. birthday, anniversary, Christmas). For more information click here or contact: admin@familysupportwork.org.uk
Legacies
Legacies are a way in which many organisations have continued to build for their future work. FSW has benefitted from the generosity of individuals to enable it to continue to expand in 2009 and secure our future into needy areas. We are happy to advise you on how we can benefit from your legacy how large or small. |
