Optimum Global - The Biggest Loser!

After Optimum Global (an international insurance specialist in Haywards Heath West Sussex) volunteered at Knowles Tooth in 2011,we wanted to think of different ways we could support this amazing charity, and the fantastic work they are doing.

We put our heads together and came up with “The Optimum Global Biggest Loser challenge.” Our Managing Director Pete Saunders & Accounts Development Manager Andy Greaves each committed to try and lose 10% of their body weight in a 3 month period.
They promised to endure healthy eating, exercise and limited alcohol over 12 weeks...... they knew it was going to be tough!!! They both completed a 30 mile bike ride at the end of June, a 40 mile ride at the end of July, followed by a gruelling 50 mile ride at the end of August
(seriously aching legs!!). All sponsorship for the challenge was to go straight to KT. The generosity of their friends and business colleagues was amazing and they raised £2018.75 for Knowles Tooth.

How much weight did they lose??? They both reached their target and are still losing weight thanks to their weekly squash matches and continued healthy eating (most of the time!!!) “We are proud to have raised this money for Knowles Tooth and it also helped us shed a few much needed pounds along the way, thanks to everyone who supported and sponsored us.”
